Responsibilities
- Develop features and enhancements to marketing sites in a secure, well-tested, and performant way.
- Own front-end web development projects from scoping through implementation and optimization.
- Craft code that meets internal standards for style, maintainability, and best practices.
- Lead front-end architecture decisions and maintain component libraries.
- Optimize web pages for maximum speed and scalability while maintaining brand consistency.
- Collaborate with the Web Platforms team on CMS integration.
- Implement responsive designs that work across devices and browsers.
- Work with Marketing teams to implement tracking and analytics code.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor other developers on front-end best practices.
- Partner with Product and Strategy teams to scope major initiatives.
- Identify and implement improvements to the front-end codebase.
- Stay current with web technologies and bring fresh ideas to enhance marketing websites.
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional front-end web development experience, ideally supporting marketing or growth teams.
- Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript (ES6+), with expertise in React/NextJS.
- Experience with TypeScript and modern CSS methodologies.
- Knowledge of web accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA).
- Experience with modern deployment and hosting platforms, preferably Vercel.
- Experience with headless CMS platforms, preferably Contentful.
- Familiarity with modern development workflows: Git, CI/CD pipelines, and build tools.
- Track record managing technical debt strategically.
- Experience with lead gen form architecture and web analytics.
- Experience with web performance optimization and SEO technical fundamentals.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Self-starter mentality with the ability to manage multiple projects.
