Responsibilities
- Deploy and maintain machine-learning models such as PyTorch and scikit-learn as robust service endpoints.
- Productionize machine-learning prototypes with data scientists and product teams and extend the platform with ML and AI features.
- Define, version, document, and maintain RESTful API contracts using OpenAPI and Swagger.
- Build Python or Node.js microservices for ML logic, data processing, and business rules.
- Optimize service performance, scalability, and reliability through caching, asynchronous processing, and batching.
- Implement React components and pages that expose ML-driven functionality and ensure backend-to-frontend data flow.
- Containerize ML services and orchestrate their deployments.
- Collaborate with data science, product, and QA teams and champion code quality, documentation, and API compatibility.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional full-stack development experience with a track record of integrating machine learning into production systems.
- Hands-on experience serving models in production, including model serialization, serving frameworks, and inference optimization.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Python.
- Experience with microservices architecture, message brokers such as Kafka, and asynchronous frameworks.
- Strong React knowledge, including hooks, context, and state management.
- Deep understanding of REST principles, OpenAPI/Swagger, API versioning, and backward compatibility.
- Experience with Docker, orchestration, CI/CD pipelines, and automated unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and scalable system-design skills.
- Advanced written and spoken English proficiency at B2+ level.
