Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to interpret requirements, verify assumptions, incorporate feedback, and escalate design or delivery issues.
- Participate in system design, architecture, project estimation, and technical documentation.
- Develop, implement, debug, and maintain software code for products, services, and components.
- Participate in code reviews, apply coding standards, and address routine pull requests.
- Create test plans and configure testing procedures to identify and resolve defects.
- Respond to support requests during on-call rotations, troubleshoot issues, and deploy fixes under guidance.
- Maintain and improve product availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, and performance through training and use of developer tools.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience and a bachelor's degree, or at least 5 years of relevant work experience.
- At least 2 years of experience developing or implementing web-based or mobile applications.
- Experience with system design and architecture, software debugging and troubleshooting, code reviews, coding standards, test planning and execution, support requests, and deploying fixes.
- Preferred: 3 or more years of work experience with a bachelor's degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an advanced degree such as a master's, MBA, JD, or MD.
- Preferred: at least 1 year of experience building and testing enterprise-scale web services and working on client-facing project or technical teams.
- Preferred: experience integrating feedback into designs and solution fixes, mentoring junior engineers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
