Base Salary
$113k - $197k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own backend services for Hiya's voice intelligence, handling real-time call flows and carrier integrations.
- Build and evolve testing and validation tooling for new market launches.
- Drive delivery on Android and iOS SDK improvements to enhance platform connectivity.
- Operate across the full stack with increasing autonomy, taking on end-to-end ownership of systems.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong depth in TypeScript or Python, with the ability to work in other languages.
- Experience with Node.js backend development and modern web service patterns.
- Familiarity with DevOps basics, including containers and deployment workflows.
- Ability to navigate Android or iOS codebases for focused changes.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Pragmatic judgment in making tradeoffs between speed and perfection.
- Autonomous on well-scoped work with a reliable throughput.
