Responsibilities
- Implement, configure, integrate, enhance, and support Blue Yonder WMS solutions for customer projects.
- Conduct functional analysis sessions and develop solutions aligned with customer business and technical requirements.
- Perform environment setup, software installation, configuration, report and label generation, quality assurance, design review, system testing, troubleshooting, and programming.
- Serve as a technical liaison among project managers, solution architects, customer contacts, users, product management, and product development.
- Provide technical and functional support through go-live, customer stabilization, value realization, and managed services.
- Investigate complex issues, including trace-file analysis, and coordinate resolution with appropriate parties.
- Conduct knowledge transfer and provide guidance to customer project teams and Support Services.
- Contribute to consulting-practice growth through practice aids, databases, and best-practice collateral.
- Maintain productive relationships with customers, partners, and consultants and contribute to project and executive-level meetings.
- Follow company project, time-and-expense, travel, and other internal and external policies.
Requirements
- 3–10 years of corporate experience.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or another relevant discipline.
- Expertise in WMS functional configuration, technical integration, quality assurance, system testing, and performance tuning.
- Hands-on experience configuring a WMS product, preferably JDA/RedPrairie WMS.
- Knowledge of interfaces between WMS and ERP/host, TMS, WLM, T&T, Parcel, and third-party systems.
- Knowledge of integrations with voice, material-handling, and ASRS systems.
- In-depth ability to resolve issues through trace files and solve complex problems with minimal guidance.
- Strong knowledge of operating systems, client/server technology, ERP systems, integration and middleware technologies, applications, databases, functional platforms, and infrastructures.
- Strong communication, presentation, analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, and customer relationship skills.
- Ability to work independently and proactively, contribute to team success, and meet organizational skill-set and availability requirements.
- Travel readiness based on business needs; performance-tuning knowledge is an added advantage.
