Responsibilities
- Provide end-to-end production support for HCL Workload Automation, GSCI, Velocity, and related workload automation services.
- Lead incident triage, incident response, root cause analysis, post-incident reviews, and problem management for batch process failures and delays.
- Coordinate with upstream and downstream application teams to resolve scheduling and workload orchestration issues.
- Create and maintain operational playbooks, support documentation, runbooks, and standard operating procedures.
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to India-based scheduling engineers.
- Manage scheduling calendars, job dependencies, change windows, reliability improvements, and ITSM process maturity with cross-functional teams.
- Communicate technical issues and business impacts effectively.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in IT production support, application operations, infrastructure operations, batch processing, or Site Reliability Engineering.
- Leadership or supervisory experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience supporting enterprise workload automation and job scheduling platforms such as HCL Workload Automation, TWS, Control-M, or similar technologies.
- Strong understanding of job dependency mapping, scheduling calendars, cross-application workload orchestration, and upstream and downstream impact analysis.
- Knowledge of ITSM practices, incident and problem management, and observability tools.
