Base Salary

$70k - $70k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Gather and analyze business requirements with stakeholders and user communities.
  • Define system requirements, scope, objectives, priorities, feasibility, costs, timelines, and resource needs.
  • Configure and modify COTS products using C# and SQL.
  • Design, code, debug, enhance, and test application software programs.
  • Diagnose system errors and apply coding or configuration changes in accordance with quality standards.
  • Document new and modified systems, including operational procedures and manuals.
  • Lead integration of new applications with existing systems and data infrastructure.
  • Assist, direct, train, and coordinate less experienced developers and application systems analysts.
  • Serve as a team or project lead for assigned project phases when needed.
  • Train users and junior analysts on new systems and system changes.

Requirements

  • Extensive knowledge of information systems design principles, application development standards, procedures, techniques, tools, and languages.
  • Extensive knowledge of information technology equipment, operations, capabilities, and recent advancements.
  • Competence working at the highest technical level across application systems analysis and programming activities.
  • Knowledge and experience in at least one object-oriented programming language.
  • Experience with SQL and SSMS is preferred.
  • Prior experience configuring GenTax products is preferred.
  • Ability to solve problems, perform analytical analysis, understand complex technical manuals, manage multiple projects and priorities, and communicate effectively.
  • A degree is not required; at least 5+ years of similar experience applying the outlined knowledge, skills, and abilities may be considered.
