Responsibilities
- Develop and lead application development initiatives and underlying frameworks.
- Design, implement, test, troubleshoot, document, and deliver software features across multiple platforms.
- Write and review scripts, templates, interfaces, utility applications, test plans, and software standards.
- Plan upgrades, migrations, optimizations, and new implementations while resolving efficiency and systems issues.
- Coordinate with QA to initiate and complete testing and ensure code quality.
- Provide Level 3 support, troubleshoot systems problems, and recommend solutions, recovery strategies, capacity planning, and security practices.
- Lead meetings, communicate status and decisions to management and technology leadership, and provide guidance to less experienced team members.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in software coding and development.
- In-depth knowledge of SQL, modeling and databases, application servers, caching technologies, application design, and testing.
- Experience with application design, application maintenance, implementation, programming, system testing, and system development life cycle practices.
- Associate degree or equivalent experience required.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in MIS, computer science, or a related field preferred.
