Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality, reusable, maintainable Python code and production-level services.
- Build data pipelines and tools using Python, in-house libraries, and AWS technologies.
- Perform unit and integration testing, code reviews, and engineering best-practice checks.
- Improve product performance using automatically monitored metrics and ensure high product stability.
- Own product work end to end, estimate tasks, communicate progress, and deliver within timelines.
- Collaborate with engineers, product developers, and internal teams in a Scrum Agile environment.
- Participate in knowledge sharing, daily standups, biweekly Scrum meetings, and continuous improvement activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science.
- At least 2 years of overall industry experience.
- 1–2 years of Python experience and strong proficiency with Python, Pandas, and NumPy.
- Experience with AWS services including Amazon Kinesis, AWS Glue, Redshift, EC2, S3, Fargate, Lambda, and EMR.
- Experience with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL or MSSQL.
- Experience with GitHub-based development processes and deploying production-level services.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, organizational, prioritization, and collaboration skills.
- Hands-on experience with AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Codex.
- Preferred experience with Jupyter Notebooks, Terraform infrastructure as code, Agile/Scrum development, and Linux/Unix environments.
