L2 Production Support Engineer – Java/Python, Cloud, Agile & Technical Troubleshooting
SynechronResponsibilities
- Provide L2 technical support by investigating, troubleshooting, prioritizing, and resolving application and technology issues.
- Write, test, modify, and deploy software solutions or enhancements as required.
- Develop technical specifications, support procedures, operational documentation, and technical resolutions.
- Conduct code reviews and support code quality, maintainability, reliability, and development standards.
- Support software testing, release coordination, deployment, monitoring, incident investigation, and production validation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional, testing, and project teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
- Analyze application data, logs, dependencies, and system outputs to identify technical issues.
- Recommend technology improvements and contribute to support automation, process improvement, and resource-efficient solutions.
- Apply secure development and support practices when handling application code, credentials, business data, access controls, and production environments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, with equivalent relevant education and professional experience considered.
- Four years of experience in software development, technology support, production support, or a related technical role.
- Proficiency in one or more of Java, Python, or Node.js.
- Experience with cloud, mobile, IoT, or blockchain technology areas and enterprise technology platforms.
- Experience with SDLC, Agile methodologies, Scrum, Git, JIRA, Confluence, code reviews, software testing, deployment, and technical documentation.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and writing, testing, deploying, troubleshooting, and supporting software solutions.
- Ability to investigate issues involving data access, data processing, data integrity, application dependencies, logs, and system outputs.
- Preferred experience includes production application support, monitoring, incident resolution, release support, support automation, relational or NoSQL databases, and application frameworks.
- Cloud, software development, Agile delivery, cybersecurity, IoT, blockchain, or related certifications are preferred but not mandatory.
