Responsibilities

  • Develop reusable Terraform templates and modules that abstract AWS complexity.
  • Design and implement secure, compliant infrastructure-as-code solutions across AWS accounts and environments.
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure deployment issues and optimize Terraform configurations for performance and reliability.
  • Develop scalable, highly available, and resilient cloud-native software solutions.
  • Create automation workflows to validate and deploy Terraform templates through CI/CD pipelines.
  • Collaborate with application teams to translate infrastructure needs into standardized Terraform modules.

Requirements

  • Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 3+ years of applied experience.
  • Hands-on experience with system design, Terraform or similar infrastructure-as-code tooling, testing, and operational stability.
  • Experience with AWS or other cloud provider services and cloud-native environments.
  • Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using modern programming and database-querying languages.
  • Knowledge of software development life-cycle concepts, software design principles, software architectures, and application resiliency.
  • Preferred experience with Go, Terraform, and AWS.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
