Responsibilities
- Develop reusable Terraform templates and modules that abstract AWS complexity.
- Design and implement secure, compliant infrastructure-as-code solutions across AWS accounts and environments.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure deployment issues and optimize Terraform configurations for performance and reliability.
- Develop scalable, highly available, and resilient cloud-native software solutions.
- Create automation workflows to validate and deploy Terraform templates through CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with application teams to translate infrastructure needs into standardized Terraform modules.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 3+ years of applied experience.
- Hands-on experience with system design, Terraform or similar infrastructure-as-code tooling, testing, and operational stability.
- Experience with AWS or other cloud provider services and cloud-native environments.
- Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using modern programming and database-querying languages.
- Knowledge of software development life-cycle concepts, software design principles, software architectures, and application resiliency.
- Preferred experience with Go, Terraform, and AWS.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
