Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain large-scale production software systems using Java and/or Python.
- Build and operate distributed, multi-tenant SaaS platforms and high-performance backend services.
- Develop scalable processing frameworks for parallel execution, tenant isolation, and fair resource utilization.
- Optimize database queries, performance, scalability, application efficiency, system throughput, and resource utilization.
- Use AI-assisted engineering tools for software design, implementation, testing, debugging, and operational support.
- Integrate with enterprise SaaS platforms and collaborate effectively across teams.
Requirements
- Extensive experience developing enterprise or SaaS applications.
- Strong Java and/or Python programming skills and experience designing large-scale production systems.
- Experience designing distributed systems that process high volumes of events, messages, or transactions.
- Experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases, including query optimization, performance tuning, and database scalability.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- BSc degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Preferred experience with AWS cloud services and modern cloud application architectures.
- Preferred experience with Kafka, SQS, or similar messaging and streaming platforms.
- Preferred experience integrating with Microsoft 365, Microsoft Graph, Google Workspace, or other enterprise SaaS platforms.
- Preferred experience with React or TypeScript and optimizing large-scale production environments.
