Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated web application tests using Playwright, Selenium, or similar frameworks.
- Create and execute API test suites using Postman, REST Assured, or equivalent tools.
- Design and execute functional, regression, integration, and exploratory test cases.
- Validate application functionality, backend services, APIs, and data flows across environments.
- Identify, document, track, and verify defects with development teams.
- Run automated test suites in CI/CD pipelines and investigate failures.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure test coverage and quality standards.
- Maintain test data, test environments, and supporting test documentation.
- Review logs, monitor test results, troubleshoot issues, track testing progress, and communicate quality risks and release-readiness recommendations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in test automation for web and API applications.
- Proficiency in Java or JavaScript.
- Hands-on experience with Playwright, Selenium, or equivalent web testing frameworks.
- Experience with Postman, REST Assured, or equivalent API automation tools and understanding of REST APIs.
- Basic knowledge of UNIX/Linux systems and scripting.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and the software development lifecycle.
- Familiarity with Claude, ChatGPT, or GitHub Copilot for test automation and productivity.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, analytical, verbal communication, and written communication skills.
