Responsibilities
- Build and deliver GenAI components including RAG pipelines, prompt orchestration, tool-calling integrations, agentic workflows, and APIs.
- Support solution architecture and contribute to design decisions for reliable, secure, performant, and cost-aware components.
- Implement and tune chunking, embeddings, vector stores, retrieval, grounding, prompt engineering, evaluation, guardrails, monitoring, and cost or latency optimization.
- Integrate solutions with Guidewire, Duck Creek, Sapiens, and enterprise data or content systems for insurance use cases.
- Perform implementation, testing, debugging, and technical issue resolution while maintaining delivery quality and timeliness.
- Work directly with clients and cross-functional engineering, data, and business stakeholders; explain technical decisions and support demos and walkthroughs.
- Apply responsible AI practices including hallucination controls, PII handling, and compliance-aware treatment of sensitive data.
- Support and guide junior consultants when needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Technology experience delivering software or data solutions, including hands-on work on at least two GenAI or AI/ML projects and approximately one year of GenAI experience.
- Hands-on experience with LLMs from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, or open-weight models such as Llama and Mistral.
- Experience with orchestration frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or Semantic Kernel, or equivalent frameworks.
- Practical experience with RAG, embeddings, and vector databases including Pinecone, Weaviate, pgvector, or Azure AI Search.
- Familiarity with agentic architectures, function or tool calling, structured outputs, prompt engineering, evaluation, guardrails, and safety practices.
- Experience with at least one cloud GenAI platform: Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, or Google Vertex AI.
- Solid programming skills and understanding of API design and integration patterns.
- Awareness of responsible AI and secure handling of sensitive data, with strong communication skills.
- Insurance or financial-services GenAI or AI/ML experience, insurance document workflow familiarity, production transition experience, and relevant cloud or AI certifications are advantageous.
