Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end architecture, governance, evolution, and optimization of Blue Yonder WMS across distribution centers and business units.
- Define solution roadmaps, lead architecture reviews, evaluate Blue Yonder capabilities, and ensure compliance with enterprise architecture standards.
- Design, configure, and optimize warehouse processes including receiving, putaway, inventory management, replenishment, picking, packing, shipping, cycle counting, yard management, and labor management.
- Define and troubleshoot integrations among Blue Yonder, SAP systems, transportation management, automation platforms, material handling equipment, robotics, AMR solutions, and middleware.
- Lead architecture for global implementations, upgrades, cloud migrations, warehouse transformations, automation initiatives, and acquisitions.
- Review partner solution designs, establish coding and deployment standards, reduce technical debt, and mentor solution engineers, developers, and business analysts.
- Provide expert support for critical incidents, production issues, solution health assessments, and long-term warehouse performance and stability improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- At least 8 years of supply chain and warehouse management experience.
- At least 7 years of hands-on Blue Yonder (JDA) WMS experience.
- Experience as a Solution Architect, Technical Lead, Senior Functional Consultant, or equivalent technical leadership professional.
- Demonstrated experience designing, configuring, troubleshooting, optimizing, and implementing Blue Yonder WMS solutions.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, replenishment, picking, packing, shipping, and distribution center processes.
- Ability to lead technical discussions, influence stakeholders, translate technical solutions into business outcomes, and mentor technical team members.
- Preferred qualifications include Blue Yonder WMS certification; Blue Yonder SaaS and public cloud experience; Manhattan WMS or SAP EWM experience; warehouse automation experience; PMP or TOGAF certification; and experience in consumer products, manufacturing, distribution, or global environments.
