Responsibilities
- Advise CxO- and VP-level stakeholders, developers, and technical architects on AWS adoption, database architectures, strategic partnerships, and customer opportunities.
- Provide technical thought leadership and become a trusted advisor within startup customer accounts.
- Develop scalable technical assets such as code samples, workshops, reference architectures, patterns, and technical articles.
- Deploy programs leveraging AWS Field Solution Architect teams, technology partners, and consulting partners.
- Collaborate with AWS Product teams to provide feedback and influence product roadmaps.
- Guide internal technical subject-matter-expert communities and create field enablement materials for AWS Solutions Architects.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in application and infrastructure design, implementation, or consulting.
- Bachelor's degree.
- 5+ years of deep technical experience with diverse databases, especially modern and open-source technologies.
- Deep expertise configuring, operating, and querying databases in production workloads.
- Experience with software development practices and processes.
- Preferred qualifications include startup or VC/PE-backed company experience in a technical executive capacity, familiarity with startup open-source software and development tools, strong data-based storytelling, cloud certification, adaptability to new technologies, and proficiency designing, deploying, and evaluating LLM-powered agents and tools.
- An advanced degree in engineering, computer science, MIS, or a related field is highly preferred.
