Responsibilities

  • Partner with industry and account teams to understand customer goals and define and deliver high-value technical solutions.
  • Develop energy-specific applications and platforms using NVIDIA technology for oil and gas, renewables, and power utilities.
  • Build targeted samples, write whitepapers, blogs, and wiki articles, and work through technical problems with customers.
  • Integrate NVIDIA technology into AI, HPC, enterprise GPU, and networking architectures for datacenter and edge applications.
  • Partner strategically with lighthouse customers and industry-specific solution partners.
  • Document knowledge and mentor others while coordinating multiple technical initiatives and implementations.
  • Travel as needed to support customers and partners.

Requirements

  • MS or PhD in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of work-related experience in data science or software development, including knowledge of parallel computing with GPUs.
  • Experience with modern application deployment practices, including Docker/containers and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with modern deep learning software architectures and frameworks.
  • Experience in the energy industry or with customers and partners in the energy domain.
  • Deep neural network and machine learning research and development experience with energy data.
  • Published thought leadership in a technical area or industry segment.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to collaborate with management and engineering.
  • Strong analytical, time-management, and organizational skills.
  • Preferred experience with energy-industry data science, synthetic data generation, GPGPU programming and design, CUDA programming and optimization, and network software development.
