Responsibilities
- Analyze Microsoft System Center Orchestrator runbooks and related file-transfer processes.
- Design, develop, test, and deploy GoAnywhere MFT workflows, projects, and job definitions.
- Implement file-transfer orchestration using SFTP, SSH, PGP encryption, Windows SMB shares, and related protocols.
- Configure authentication and connectivity using Active Directory and Integrated Windows Authentication.
- Develop error handling, notifications, logging, retries, exception management, monitoring, scheduling, and recovery strategies.
- Conduct process analysis, requirements gathering, risk assessments, impact analysis, and change-management activities for migrations.
- Support stakeholder validation, testing, troubleshooting, deployment, and post-implementation stabilization.
- Create and maintain technical, workflow, process, and operational support documentation.
- Manage assigned migration efforts, priorities, and deliverables independently within the contract timeline.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Hands-on experience analyzing, designing, and developing GoAnywhere MFT jobs, workflows, and automation solutions; similar enterprise automation experience may be considered.
- Familiarity with Microsoft System Center Orchestrator, including analyzing and interpreting existing runbooks.
- Experience in Windows Server and Active Directory environments.
- Working knowledge of SFTP, SSH, PGP encryption, SMB file shares, and Integrated Windows Authentication.
- Experience with error handling, logging, monitoring, scheduling, and recovery strategies in automated processes.
- Ability to perform process and requirements analysis, risk assessment, change-management activities, and complex technical migrations.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote contract environment.
- Preferred: experience with SQL Server on Windows, Azure SQL Database, PowerShell, regular expressions, text processing, file parsing, and enterprise integration or managed file-transfer best practices.
