Base Salary
$141k - $178k/yr
Responsibilities
- Consult with internal business groups to provide application software development services and technical support.
- Gather requirements and prepare BRD/SRD documentation using software development lifecycle knowledge.
- Coordinate technical design, development, testing, implementation, and documentation of cross-functional, multi-platform applications.
- Develop reusable frontend components, services, modules, Module Federated Micro Frontends, and RESTful endpoints.
- Write well-designed, testable, efficient code and conduct code reviews, unit testing, and end-to-end testing.
- Perform performance tuning, troubleshooting, debugging, upgrades, maintenance, support, and enhancements for existing systems.
- Develop software verification plans and quality assurance procedures.
- Collaborate with data engineers, business users, project managers, UI/UX designers, and other engineers.
- Apply security and privacy principles and promote reuse of existing products and functionality.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems Engineering, or a related field, plus seven years of progressively responsible experience in the offered job or a related IT occupation.
- Alternatively, a master’s degree plus five years of progressively responsible experience is accepted.
- Experience must include Angular, TypeScript, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Angular Material, RxJS, Webpack, Jasmine, Karma, Protractor, Postman, Fiddler, and JProfile.
- Experience developing reusable components and modules, Module Federated Micro Frontends, RESTful endpoints, responsive interfaces, unit tests, end-to-end tests, microservices, APIs, and cloud-platform applications.
- Experience may be obtained before or after completion of a master’s degree.
Benefits
- Base salary range is $140,754.00–$178,000.00 per year, with potential additional compensation and company-sponsored benefits.
- Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the Pittsburgh, PA worksite.
- The position is at-will and subject to the employer’s stated compensation and employment policies.
