Base Salary
$162k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define the long-term technical vision for the cloud platform.
- Set organizational standards for cloud reliability and operational excellence.
- Serve as the senior solutions engineering authority for partner teams.
- Own the developer experience roadmap and close gaps in self-service infrastructure.
- Proactively identify systemic risks in AWS infrastructure and delivery pipelines.
- Translate infrastructure risk and platform strategy into business-aligned narratives.
- Mentor Staff and Senior engineers, promoting engineering rigor and accountability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
- 8+ years of cloud platform or infrastructure engineering experience.
- Expert knowledge of AWS services and high-stakes architectural decisions.
- Deep expertise in cloud reliability and operational excellence.
- Expert-level Terraform and IaC platform leadership.
- Proven solutions engineering partner and developer experience advocate.
- Executive-level communication skills for translating technical concepts.
- Track record of mentoring engineers and setting engineering standards.
- Ability to create multi-year platform roadmaps aligned with business goals.
- Experience in setting CI/CD governance models at an organizational level.
