Base Salary
$163k - $215k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop innovative solutions that help users get the most out of Algolia.
- Execute experiments and A/B tests to identify effective product solutions.
- Collaborate with Product and Design teams to identify and develop opportunities.
- Design and develop a scalable growth platform.
- Mentor software engineers and support their growth.
- Work with cross-functional teams to deliver a solid growth foundation.
- Improve engineering quality, processes, and tooling.
- Help define the team roadmap and pursue team-generated initiatives targeting growth metrics.
Requirements
- Experience with event-driven infrastructure in GCP or AWS.
- Experience with a server-side typed or untyped language.
- Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and HTML/CSS, with the ability to ship across the full stack.
- Willingness to learn Ruby and Golang; Algolia currently uses Ruby and plans to integrate more Golang.
- Passion for delivering strong user experiences and making data-driven decisions.
- Experience working in a scale-up or Growth team is preferred.
- Experience with analytics platforms such as Amplitude or Hex is preferred.
