Responsibilities
- Design, plan, execute, and document manual, functional, and other testing for ISS applications and services.
- Review requirements and create, execute, and maintain test cases and test suites for ISS Governance application infrastructure.
- Implement and support testing activities and deliver accurate results on schedule.
- Report and track defects in Jira and coordinate troubleshooting, fixes, and retesting with relevant teams.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Development, and global project teams to ensure products meet business requirements.
- Assist with test-case writing and execution of automated test suites.
- Contribute to Java and Selenium automation development for approximately 20–30% of the role.
- Maintain and fix existing and newly created testing frameworks.
Requirements
- BE, B.Tech, or MCA in Computer Science or a related discipline is required; a master's degree is preferred.
- 4–7 years of manual and automation testing experience is required.
- Experience with web application testing, QA/software testing or development, and hands-on scripting or coding is preferred.
- Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language, preferably Java or another object-oriented programming language.
- Experience with a defect-tracking system; Jira experience is preferred.
- Experience interacting with RDBMS is required; SQL in an MS SQL Server environment is a plus.
- Linux OS experience is preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, verbal, and written communication skills are required.
- Experience working as part of a global development organization is a plus.
