Responsibilities
- Analyze testing requirements and create test strategies for new and existing projects.
- Create and document test plans, scenarios, and scripts for developer and analyst validation.
- Create automation scripts for regression testing.
- Execute testing scripts across all IT environments and track progress through the defect management cycle.
- Identify, measure, document, and report software defects and bugs.
- Communicate test findings and results to analysts and developers for remediation.
- Support peers and participate actively in Scrum team activities.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of proven experience in software testing.
- Knowledge of different testing phases across IT environments.
- Experience with Agile project delivery methodology.
- Knowledge of JIRA for defect classification, management, and reporting.
- Ability to take ownership of defects through resolution and proactively identify risks and issues.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- ISEB or ISTQB qualification, or equivalent, is desirable.
- Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium is desirable.
- Experience in other roles within the Software Delivery Life Cycle is desirable.
- Willingness to travel internationally if required is desirable.
- Ability to test API functions is desirable.
