Responsibilities
- Support internal customers and troubleshoot critical production issues across platforms and applications.
- Carry out production deployments, patch bugs, and reduce operational inefficiencies.
- Build and maintain monitoring, reporting, and task-automation frameworks using tools such as Prometheus and the ELK stack.
- Create, facilitate, and promote automated workflows throughout the platform lifecycle.
- Provide evidence for required risk controls and manage IT compliance activities.
- Use Azure DevOps and YAML-based pipelines to automate build and deployment processes.
- Develop Ansible-based configuration automation for virtual machines and containers, including certificates and monitoring tools.
- Document and follow operational procedures accurately.
Requirements
- Relevant experience in an Ops, DevOps, TechOps, or SRE role.
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline is preferred.
- Knowledge of a scripting language such as Python or Bash.
- Experience working in Linux environments, including system administration, patching, and debugging.
- Experience with modern CI/CD tools and Ansible or another configuration-automation tool.
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Elastic Stack.
- Knowledge of encryption and hashing mechanisms, including PKI, RSA, SHA, DES, and AES.
- Experience with Oracle Database is nice to have.
- Experience with EBICS payment systems is nice to have.
- Interest in learning new technologies and evolving with the industry.
- Accuracy in managing IT compliance and risk controls and in documenting and following procedures.
