Responsibilities
- Define high-level technical requirements and architecture for backend services.
- Develop new application features and enhance existing applications.
- Collaborate with other teams on deployment, testing, training, and production support.
- Integrate backend services with frontend development.
- Follow development, coding, privacy, and security standards.
- Perform data modeling, database development, code refactoring, and quality-focused software development.
Requirements
- Bring 10 years of experience, including 6 years as a Senior Java Application Developer or in another role providing relevant experience.
- Hold a BS or Master's degree in Science or Engineering.
- Demonstrate strong core Java and JEE expertise, including concurrency, database transactions, Spring Boot, JDBC, Hibernate, and JPA.
- Have strong object-oriented design and code-refactoring skills.
- Have strong data modeling and database development experience with SQL and PL/SQL.
- Have knowledge of microservices architecture and Kubernetes.
- Have good knowledge and experience with Agentic AI and its use in daily work and product implementation.
- Demonstrate strong communication, time management, work ethic, and passion for professional software development.
- Experience with messaging, distributed caching, concurrency, API gateways, and Agentic AI tools or product implementations is a plus.
