Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and develop embedded software in Rust, C++, or other modern programming languages.
- Build system applications for satellite systems and device interfaces such as CAN.
- Scale SpaceSDK to support additional satellite components.
- Develop monitoring and telemetry capabilities for satellite components.
- Develop security features for satellite systems.
- Collaborate with software and hardware teams.
- Troubleshoot critical issues on satellites orbiting in space.
- Promote quality, reliability, and security in critical code.
Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience programming in at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: 3+ years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, refugee, or asylee to satisfy export control requirements.
