Responsibilities
- Design and implement software solutions across scoping, architecture, coding, testing, deployment, and ongoing operations.
- Collaborate with customers, stakeholders, and cross-functional peers to translate business needs into scalable, performant, and secure technical designs.
- Identify operational root causes and implement permanent fixes to improve software reliability and team operational health.
- Mentor and coach engineers through code reviews, knowledge sharing, and onboarding support.
- Evaluate modern tools and generative AI capabilities to improve development productivity, code quality, and customer experience.
Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- 3+ years of video games industry experience supporting title development, release, or live operations.
- Experience programming in at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: 3+ years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
