Base Salary
$140k - $155k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect end-to-end ML infrastructure spanning data processing, feature management, and model serving.
- Design and lead implementation of scalable ML platforms for diverse workloads.
- Build large-scale data processing systems and feature platforms.
- Design real-time and batch ML serving architectures and optimize inference scalability.
- Establish monitoring, observability, reliability, scalability, and operational excellence practices.
- Define ML infrastructure strategy and roadmap and lead complex architectural decisions.
- Lead cross-functional technical initiatives, conduct design reviews, and mentor platform engineers.
- Develop MLOps automation, experimentation platforms, and resource management systems.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience, including 5+ years focused on ML infrastructure.
- Deep expertise in distributed systems and data processing at scale.
- Strong background in ML platform development and MLOps practices.
- Experience building production ML infrastructure for critical business applications.
- Proven experience leading complex technical initiatives and making architectural decisions.
- Expertise with large-scale data processing, feature stores, ML serving and inference optimization, container orchestration, cloud platforms, data pipelines, monitoring, and observability.
- Preferred qualifications include GPU infrastructure and optimization, high-performance computing, open-source ML infrastructure contributions, ML security and compliance, and a Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
