Responsibilities
- Design and deliver enterprise architecture solutions for Personal and Business Banking across digital and assisted customer channels.
- Integrate applications, data, technology, cloud, and on-premises systems across complex business and technology environments.
- Create architecture assets, technical design recommendations, solution specifications, and business-case input.
- Research technologies, develop proofs of concept and prototypes, and recommend solutions for future product architectures.
- Identify and mitigate project, fraud, cybersecurity, data security, compliance, and technology risks.
- Oversee complex projects and cross-domain initiatives while advising senior leaders and stakeholders.
- Design scalable applications, interfaces, microservices, and enterprise integrations.
- Apply the organization’s Risk Management Framework and applicable policies, standards, laws, and regulations.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of Solution Architect experience in a large enterprise environment.
- At least 5 years of software development experience with technologies such as Angular, Java, and Node.js.
- Strong understanding of service-oriented architecture, databases, data modeling, real-time and batch interfaces, and the TOGAF framework.
- Experience with end-to-end enterprise solutioning from frontend systems through enterprise services, product systems, and third parties.
- Knowledge or experience with AI and AWS or Azure cloud environments.
- Experience with internet-facing application security controls, communication protocols, microservices, SOAP/XML, RESTful/JSON schema design, and application scaling.
- Understanding of design patterns, architectural patterns, middleware, continuous integration and deployment, testing, systems management, enterprise data and access layers, and computing styles.
- Expertise in requirements discovery, solution context formulation, solution alternatives, technology selection, and design configuration.
- Expert verbal and written communication, analytical and problem-solving, influence, collaboration, data-driven decision-making, and ambiguity-management skills.
