Responsibilities
- Translate user requirements into technical specifications, designs, and software features.
- Write, analyze, test, debug, implement, and maintain software programs and business systems.
- Provide system design guidance and specialized technical, analytical, and consulting support.
- Perform applications integration, troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance, and fault rectification.
- Ensure code and configurations meet security, logging, error-handling, performance, and other non-functional requirements.
- Evaluate new technologies and assess their upstream, downstream, process, data, and risk impacts.
- Follow software development lifecycle, release management, and version-control processes.
- Document client requirements and software development lifecycle execution.
Requirements
- Typically 5–7 years of relevant experience.
- Post-secondary degree in a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Advanced proficiency in programming, applications integration, test-driven development, software development lifecycle practices, troubleshooting, and system and technology integration.
- Intermediate proficiency in quality assurance and testing, cloud computing, microservices, and technology business requirements definition, analysis, and mapping.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, adaptability, and data-driven decision-making skills.
- Deep technical knowledge and proficiency gained through extensive education and business experience.
