Responsibilities
- Bring artists’ and designers’ vision to life through game presentation systems.
- Design and write C++ code and engine scripts for camera, choreography, audio, overlays, and related tools.
- Design, architect, and document technical designs for presentation systems.
- Develop stable, scalable, efficient, and shareable code using EA’s proprietary engine.
- Debug and tune features across multiple platforms and devices.
- Collaborate with content creators, designers, and engineers across game development disciplines.
- Apply common software engineering design patterns and paradigms.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent training and professional experience.
- 6+ years of C++ experience with object-oriented design and implementation.
- Experience with Unity or Unreal game engines.
- Knowledge of good software programming practices.
- 3+ years of experience with scripting languages such as Python and Lua, and interpreted languages such as C#.
- Experience with source control systems.

- British Columbia compensation range of $104,500–$142,800 CAD.
