Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver software solutions for Mastercard’s fraud and identity Decision Management Platform.
- Design and implement technical solutions and alternatives that meet business requirements and Mastercard standards.
- Support production incidents and problem tickets as a subject matter expert.
- Lead day-to-day system development and maintenance activities while meeting service level agreements.
- Own software development life-cycle artifacts, including requirements, use cases, designs, test strategies, performance benchmarks, release plans, and deployment or rollback plans.
- Participate in proof-of-concepts and help evaluate vendor solutions, technologies, methodologies, and frameworks.
- Conduct technical knowledge-sharing sessions and train and mentor team members.
- Improve engineering standards and process efficiency while ensuring unit, integration, system, performance, code, and security reviews.
Requirements
- Experience designing and developing complex, multi-tier software solutions.
- Experience creating and debugging J2EE web applications and web services.
- Database experience with Oracle and SQL scripting.
- Experience with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and Maven.
- Experience writing unit tests with JUnit and Mockito.
- Experience with JBoss, Apache Tomcat, and Git.
- Knowledge of Agile software development processes.
- Preferred experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift, Cloud Foundry, Apache Camel, Spring Integration, service-performance monitoring, Angular, React, Redux, HTML5, ES5/ES6, TypeScript, SASS, and CSS3.
- Strong communication, collaboration, organizational, initiative, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to work independently and under pressure.
- Ability to work on matrix-based, diverse, geographically distributed teams and provide technical guidance to colleagues.
