Responsibilities
- Design software architecture and develop clean, efficient software applications.
- Develop applications for large-scale data processing and analysis, including data modeling and data infrastructure.
- Identify, prioritize, and execute software development lifecycle tasks.
- Automate tasks using appropriate tools and scripting.
- Review, debug, validate, and test code and applications.
- Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and business partners to improve products and deliver technology initiatives.
- Document development phases, monitor systems, and keep software current with new technologies.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Senior Software Engineer.
- Extensive experience in software development, scripting, and project management.
- Experience with system monitoring tools such as New Relic and automated testing frameworks.
- Knowledge of Python, C++, and JavaScript.
- In-depth knowledge of relational databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL, and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
- BSc or BA in Computer Science or a related degree.
- Experience with machine learning algorithms is preferred.
