Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain event-driven microservices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Contribute to application design, architecture decisions, and technical best practices.
- Support high availability, performance, and reliability for mission-critical platforms.
- Work with cloud-based and distributed systems to develop scalable solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Communicate with stakeholders and provide constructive technical feedback.
- Own deliverables in ambiguous and fast-paced environments.
- Use Claude Code, Cursor, and Copilot to accelerate development while rigorously reviewing AI-generated output.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of hands-on Java experience, with Java 21 preferred.
- Proven experience building microservices-based architectures.
- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot.
- Experience with event-driven systems and messaging technologies such as RabbitMQ and Kafka.
- Strong experience designing and developing RESTful APIs.
- Strong understanding of application design and software development best practices.
- Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
- Experience supporting high-availability, mission-critical systems.
- Familiarity with cloud-based and distributed system architectures.
- Experience with reactive programming or frameworks.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, preferred.
- Knowledge of AI concepts including LLMs, RAG, vector databases, or prompt engineering.
- Ability to collaborate effectively, communicate clearly, provide constructive feedback, and work in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
