Responsibilities
- Develop and verify embedded software for ECU reprogramming, bootloaders, and secure OTA update clients.
- Estimate features and identify platform and diagnostic constraints during RFQ and concept phases.
- Refine requirements, architecture, detailed designs, and test cases.
- Implement, review, integrate, and debug update software, including download, authentication, integrity checking, flash programming, activation, rollback, and recovery.
- Develop UDS and DoIP services, bootloader configuration, memory drivers, and update-client interfaces.
- Perform unit, bench, integration, robustness, power-interruption, rollback, recovery, and fault-condition testing.
- Analyze production campaign and service issues and deliver controlled fixes.
- Debug timing, memory, power-loss, communication, and compatibility issues.
- Maintain code quality, traceability, and release documentation.
Requirements
- Experience with embedded C/C++, microcontrollers, flash and memory concepts, and hardware debugging.
- Experience with UDS, DoIP, CAN, CAN FD, Ethernet, bootloaders, and diagnostics.
- Experience with AUTOSAR or RTOS/Linux development, Git, CI/CD, and unit testing.
- Basic cryptography and secure-coding knowledge.
- Experience with S32K, S32G, V850, or similar platforms is preferred.
- HSM integration, Python automation, delta updates, and ISO 24089 exposure are preferred.
