Software Engineering - C++ Android Middleware

- Design, develop, and maintain Android Framework and middleware components.
- Develop system services, HAL integrations, and platform-level features.
- Customize and enhance Android AOSP platforms.
- Integrate software with hardware, Linux, and Android services.
- Debug and resolve complex system-level and performance issues.
- Optimize software performance, memory usage, and system stability.
- Collaborate with product, architecture, and application teams on technical solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, feature development, bug fixing, production issue resolution, platform bring-up, and software releases.
Requirements
- Requires 3–6 years of C++ software development experience, including Android Framework, middleware, and C++ development.
- Strong proficiency in Modern C++ and experience with C++11, C++14, or C++17.
- Hands-on experience with Android Framework, AOSP, Android architecture, Binder IPC, HAL, JNI, and system services.
- Experience with Linux-based development environments and knowledge of multithreading, synchronization, memory management, and object-oriented design.
- Experience using GDB, Logcat, Perfetto, Systrace, or similar debugging tools.
- Familiarity with Git, Gerrit, and software configuration management tools.
- Requires a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Preferred experience includes Automotive Android or AAOS, infotainment, navigation, multimedia, connectivity, embedded Linux, Android Security Framework, SELinux, CAN, Ethernet, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, vehicle communication protocols, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks.
- Strong communication, collaboration, analytical, and problem-solving skills are required.
