Responsibilities
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions and maintain logical and physical design artifacts.
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance .NET-based applications.
- Implement RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints for system integration.
- Build scalable, available, and secure cloud-native applications using Azure services.
- Design database schemas, write efficient SQL queries, and implement database functionality.
- Define and estimate technical tasks, provide guidance to team members, and help keep projects on schedule.
- Provide technical design guidance focused on scalability and extensibility.
- Contribute to architectural standards and governance within the department.
- Lead technical projects from inception through delivery and collaborate with other technology teams.
- Mentor junior team members and support maintenance practices for service-level commitments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Seven years of software development experience.
- Proficiency designing, developing, and maintaining .NET-based applications.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL endpoints, Azure services and platforms, database schemas, and SQL queries.
- Strong understanding of software architecture principles and design patterns.
- Experience leading technical projects from inception to completion.
- Ability to balance technical requirements with business objectives.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience mentoring junior team members is a plus.
- Proficiency with desktop tools including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, and SharePoint.
- Additional education, certifications, or other distinctions are a plus.

- Full-time annual base pay is listed as CAD 119,380.00–170,115.00, commensurate with skills, experience, education or training, and geographic location.
