Base Salary

$118k - $178k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Sales to formulate and execute strategies that drive AWS adoption and exceed revenue objectives.
  • Own technical customer engagements and the success of application, software, and service implementations or migrations on AWS.
  • Design cloud architectures, lead deep technical discussions, respond to RFPs, and advise customers on application integration and security.
  • Conduct customer training sessions, including one-to-few and one-to-many programs such as Dev Days and Immersion Days.
  • Capture and share architectural best practices within the AWS Solutions Architect community.
  • Contribute to customer-facing AWS publications such as white papers.
  • Act as a technical liaison among customers, AWS service teams, and Support.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in application or infrastructure design, implementation, or consulting.
  • At least 4 years of experience in a specific technology domain such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or data and analytics.
  • At least 5 years of IT development or implementation/consulting experience in the software or Internet industries.
  • Experience with technical presentations, including whiteboarding and small- or large-group presentations.
  • Experience with web services development or deployment, cloud computing, and website or service operations, management, and security.
  • Ability to travel 30%.
  • Preferred experience working in software development or Internet-related industries, migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud, and using AWS technologies from a development and operations perspective.
