Responsibilities
- Architect and deliver technical solution demonstrations and presentations highlighting Planet’s products, services, and capabilities.
- Build trusted-advisor relationships with customer technical and management stakeholders.
- Recommend solution architectures aligned with customer business challenges, organizational goals, budgets, and scalability needs.
- Prepare technical responses to tenders, RFIs, RFPs, and unsolicited proposals.
- Partner with sales colleagues to develop technical account strategies and support customer and prospect engagements.
- Collaborate with Customer Success, Product Management, and Business Development on customer needs and proposal submissions.
- Meet assigned quarterly and annual sales and operational objectives.
- Communicate forecasts, pipeline opportunities, deal reviews, CRM data, and customer feedback to Sales leadership.
- Present to South Korean government executive stakeholders and lead technical customer engagements.
- Mentor team members and lead training, workshops, and user sessions.
Requirements
- 6+ years of technical experience supporting, working with, or within the South Korean defense and intelligence community.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Experience working with GIS and remote sensing users in the defense industry.
- Experience with IMINT and ISR is preferred.
- Experience designing and presenting complex systems and solutions that connect business problems with scalable technology solutions.
- Experience processing imagery, manipulating geospatial data, interacting with APIs, and building data pipelines.
- Ability to lead technical customer engagements and run workshops or training sessions.
- Professional working proficiency in English.
- Ability to travel, including internationally, up to 50%.
- Strong verbal and written communication, problem-solving, coordination, prioritization, multitasking, and time-management skills.
- Eligibility for and ability to maintain a South Korean security clearance is required.
- Mandarin speaking ability is preferred.
