Responsibilities

Develop clean, maintainable, and well-tested Java and Spring Boot backend services and microservices.
Enhance monitoring, logging, observability, availability, and performance of the core platform.
Implement secure coding practices and support compliance for cloud-based data exchange.
Collaborate with QA, Product, and engineering colleagues in an Agile team to deliver software on schedule.
Explore emerging cloud-native and AI/ML technologies and potential product applications.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
At least 2 years of professional software engineering experience, ideally in a product-driven company.
Strong foundation in Java, Spring Boot, REST API development, object-oriented programming, and design patterns.
Proficiency with SQL and relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
Practical exposure to cloud platforms, preferably AWS, and standard deployment pipelines; Docker or Kubernetes/EKS experience is a strong plus.
Experience writing automated unit and integration tests and participating in code reviews.
Familiarity with networking or file-transfer protocols such as SFTP, HTTP, or AS2 is highly desirable.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills, willingness to learn from senior engineers, and experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
