Responsibilities
- Deploy AI workflows and architectures across enterprise technology and multi-provider platforms.
- Design and operate observability platforms using Splunk and OpenTelemetry across infrastructure tiers.
- Engineer Terraform or Pulumi infrastructure-as-code platforms with policy enforcement, drift detection, and multi-cloud coverage across AWS and GCP.
- Build CI/CD and GitOps infrastructure using GitHub Actions and ArgoCD, and operate the Backstage internal developer portal.
- Own ServiceNow workflow automation, CMDB reconciliation, PagerDuty/OpsGenie integrations, and automated incident pipelines.
- Build LLM-powered runbook automation and agentic ITSM workflows using multi-agent orchestration and human-in-the-loop controls.
- Implement AI-powered alert correlation, noise reduction, and actionable incident context for on-call engineers.
- Design RAG architectures backed by vector databases for infrastructure knowledge bases.
- Engineer HashiCorp Vault secrets management, PKI automation, and Kubernetes authentication across cloud and on-premises environments.
- Mentor engineers, establish platform engineering standards, drive tooling roadmaps, and act as the highest technical escalation point.
Requirements
- Minimum 7.5 years of experience in agentic orchestration is required.
- 15 years of full-time education is required.
- Advanced experience with platform, tools, infrastructure, observability, IaC, automation, CI/CD, GitOps, ITSM, secrets management, and AI tooling.
- Experience with OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini, RAG architectures, vector databases, LLMOps, LangChain, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, tool calling, and human-in-the-loop workflows.
- Advanced Python experience for platform tooling, LLM SDK integration, infrastructure automation, and API development.
- Relevant certifications include Terraform Associate or Professional, Splunk Professional, AWS DevOps Engineer Professional or GCP DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator, and HashiCorp Vault Associate.
- Experience with FSI compliance requirements including PCI DSS, SOX, and DORA is required or relevant to the role.
- Preferred experience includes Crossplane, eBPF-based observability, Cilium, Pixie, Hubble, GPU node management, Triton, vLLM, MLflow, and financial-services platform engineering or SRE consulting.
