Responsibilities
- Define AI use cases, solution designs, and engineering standards for Apple’s Finance data platform.
- Own Finance platform initiatives end to end, from use-case discovery and design through delivery, adoption, and continuous improvement.
- Design or deliver production agentic systems, MCP-based integrations, prompt-engineering workflows, evaluations, and conversational experiences grounded in enterprise data.
- Partner with HANA engineering and GenAI platform teams to bring solutions into production.
- Specify AI-layer requirements and analytics strategy for SAP-sourced financial data.
- Set technical direction and standards for engineering teams and communicate trade-offs to executive and diverse audiences.
Requirements
- 10+ years of SAP domain experience with significant solution-architecture experience for large-scale, business-critical Finance platforms.
- Experience owning a Finance platform end to end and strong knowledge of revenue recognition, order-to-cash, record-to-report, and Legal, Management, and Statutory reporting.
- Working knowledge of SAP HANA data models and analytics on SAP-sourced data.
- Experience designing or delivering agentic systems and MCP-based integrations, with hands-on prompt-engineering and evaluation experience.
- Strong SQL and Python skills for working with large financial datasets.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred: deep revenue-accounting knowledge including ASC 606 and IFRS 15, and familiarity with SAP RAR and S/4HANA structures, interfaces, and business logic.
- Preferred: experience delivering production AI-agent workflows or enterprise-data conversational experiences and influencing stakeholders without direct authority.
