Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deliver GenAI applications that improve client experiences and generate business impact.
- Develop and operate AI applications and data pipelines using large datasets.
- Implement monitoring, alerting, observability, and incident-response frameworks for system health and reliability.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, business leaders, and cross-functional teams to align solutions with enterprise strategy and technical standards.
- Lead rapid iteration from concept to production and solve complex technical challenges.
- Advance engineering quality and operational-excellence standards across deliverables.
- Mentor and coach junior engineers through code reviews, guidance, and technical support.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software development experience, including 4+ years as a hands-on senior engineer.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 5+ years building complex products from scratch, operating them in production, and ensuring operational reliability.
- 3+ years building applications that leverage AI models for measurable business impact.
- 3+ years developing applications and data pipelines that interface with large datasets.
- 3+ years working with containers and cloud-native applications, operationalizing them in the public cloud with infrastructure as code.
- Experience with proprietary or open-source LLMs such as Gemini, Claude, or OpenAI and deploying LLM-powered applications to production is preferred.
- Experience writing and running evaluations for the quality and consistency of LLM-generated output is preferred.
- Experience with Python and front-end development is preferred.
- Strong computer science fundamentals, distributed-systems problem solving, communication, quality practices, and mentoring experience are preferred.
- A master’s or advanced degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
