$160k - $220k/yr
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with designers to translate user requirements into technical specifications for the fantasy sports product.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using React, TypeScript, and related libraries.
- Build fluid, responsive interfaces emphasizing animation, gestures, and high-quality interactions.
- Troubleshoot and debug performance, socket, data caching, and other complex application issues.
- Develop reusable UI components and maintain a well-structured component hierarchy.
- Integrate front-end components with back-end services through RESTful or GraphQL APIs.
- Stay current with React, web development best practices, and accessibility guidelines.
Requirements
- Be an active fantasy sports player with experience participating in seasonal leagues.
- Have 5+ years of web application development experience, with React as the primary framework.
- Have experience building and owning a large-scale, consumer-facing application.
- Demonstrate strong interaction-detail skills and substantial experience with web animation and gesture work.
- Be comfortable extending existing codebases and creating new product surfaces in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
- Have a Computer Science degree or equivalent experience.
