Base Salary
$172k - $242k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own Horizon UI and product features from user problem definition through information architecture, implementation, and shipment.
- Define and improve how users interact with Horizon, including web experiences, flows, and presentation of complex governance concepts.
- Build maintainable, performant full-stack software with a front-end center of gravity.
- Collaborate with Horizon engineers to establish shared product and UX direction.
- Partner with go-to-market teams and customers to translate enterprise needs into understandable product experiences.
- Develop deep product knowledge of the MCP ecosystem and AI/LLM tooling space.
- Guide AI development tools with human- and machine-legible specifications while maintaining accountability for their output.
- Participate in on-call and incident response and help maintain production reliability standards.
Requirements
- 5+ years of full-stack engineering experience with a front-end focus.
- Demonstrated success shipping intuitive, user-facing products.
- Experience shipping in high-ambiguity, early-stage environments without dedicated product management or design teams.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript, React, modern UI libraries such as TanStack, and underlying web technologies.
- Strong product and UX judgment involving user flows, information architecture, and product usability.
- Comfort working across the full stack with a focus on the product surface.
- Experience building with, or genuine interest in, the Model Context Protocol and AI/LLM tooling.
- Experience using AI development tools such as Claude Code, Codex, or equivalent tools to ship meaningful work.
- Self-directed approach, strong judgment, and clear communication.
- Formal design experience is not required.
