Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain automation solutions supporting daily Content Operations activities.
  • Build operational tools, workflow solutions, and utilities that reduce manual effort and improve data accuracy and efficiency.
  • Develop reports, dashboards, monitoring solutions, and data services using Microsoft Fabric and Azure.
  • Create processes for bulk content updates, data corrections, data quality improvements, and content lifecycle management.
  • Write SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts for reporting, analysis, and data maintenance.
  • Analyze operational data, identify process optimization opportunities, and troubleshoot production issues.
  • Implement testing, validation, documentation, code reviews, source control, CI/CD, deployment, and engineering best practices.
  • Collaborate with Product, UX, Engineering, Content Operations, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Contribute to project planning, estimation, sprint activities, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of professional software development experience.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services and Microsoft Fabric.
  • Strong SQL development skills, including query optimization, stored procedures, data analysis, reporting, bulk updates, and data correction operations.
  • Experience with Azure SQL Managed Instance, SQL Server, or other enterprise database platforms.
  • Proficiency in one or more of C#/.NET, Java, or Python.
  • Experience building business applications, utilities, automation tools, or workflow management solutions.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs, integration patterns, Git, source code management, branching strategies, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Understanding of software engineering best practices, including testing, code reviews, and documentation.
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment.
  • Preferred experience with Power BI, Fabric Data Warehouse, Lakehouse, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, data quality management, data governance, and operational or content management workflows.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, prioritization, collaboration, and attention-to-detail skills.
