Responsibilities
- Build and ship backend features in the Django monolith.
- Optimize database queries, endpoints, and caching layers for performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and frontend engineers.
- Contribute to technical discussions balancing short-term and long-term goals.
- Uphold strong engineering practices through code reviews and test coverage.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building backend applications at high scale.
- Extensive experience with Python.
- Ability to optimize endpoint performance and database queries.
- Strong advocate for automated testing and engineering best practices.
