Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with application developers, product operations, and architects to translate complex requirements into automated solutions.
  • Build scalable Spring Boot and Spring Batch applications integrating with databases, AWS services, and APIs.
  • Develop Java applications and work with relational databases, stored procedures, materialized views, ETL processes, job schedulers, and batch or streaming data.
  • Create unit and integration tests, deployment scripts, coding-standard documentation, and peer reviews.
  • Create designs and style guides for business requirements and suggest improvements to user interfaces, software architecture, and technologies.

Requirements

  • At least 3.5 years of relevant experience with Core Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, and Spring Batch.
  • Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server and Oracle, including stored procedures and materialized views.
  • Experience with ETL processes, job schedulers, batching or streaming data, APIs, and Git or a similar repository management tool.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design principles, distributed systems, and security best practices.
  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Preferred qualifications include at least 3 years of Python experience and experience with frontend development, JavaScript frameworks, AWS or Azure, Docker, Jenkins, Splunk, Datadog, marketing automation platforms, or Apex.
