Base Salary
$111k - $125k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, document, deploy, and debug libraries, frameworks, and full systems for core call-platform products.
- Improve the scalability, stability, accuracy, speed, and efficiency of existing data systems.
- Develop tools to automate large-scale data-management and analysis tasks in collaboration with engineers and product owners.
- Implement security and data protection and investigate production issues.
- Collaborate on a Scrum team through software design, development, testing, delivery, code reviews, and the software development lifecycle.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; a bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- At least five years of relevant software-development experience.
- Hands-on professional Java development experience at the enterprise level.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, cloud-computing technologies, data-architecture principles, and distributed systems.
- Experience developing RESTful microservices with Spring Boot, using version-control systems, working in Linux, and debugging production issues.
- Ability to collaborate, guide and support teammates, communicate effectively, solve problems, manage priorities, exercise discretion, and maintain confidentiality.
- Preferred experience with SIP, VoIP, Python, JavaScript, PHP, React, React Native, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and modern virtual-team communication tools such as Microsoft Teams and Slack.
