Responsibilities
- Design and implement complex automation workflows across BigQuery, BI systems, and related tools.
- Build and maintain operational integrations connecting ClicData, Slack, Google Sheets, marketing platforms, and other systems.
- Lead major incident investigations, root cause analyses, debugging, monitoring, optimization, and preventive improvements for automation pipelines.
- Write clean, modular, scalable code and establish automated testing practices.
- Manage version control, code reviews, and collaborative development through GitHub.
- Develop comprehensive documentation frameworks, reusable guides, and project transparency practices.
- Mentor junior colleagues and contribute to process improvement and technical innovation.
- Influence data strategy, roadmap, and architecture decisions while aligning automations with reporting and system needs.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience with strong SQL and JavaScript knowledge, particularly for automation within the Google ecosystem.
- Experience with BigQuery or strong general database expertise.
- Hands-on experience with Airflow or similar orchestration tools.
- Strong understanding of data architecture, data modeling frameworks, performance optimization, APIs, and BI platform integrations.
- Proven experience in automation, data quality improvements, and building internal tools.
- Advanced experience using GitHub for collaborative development.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- AdTech experience is strongly preferred, or candidates may have a strong interest in the domain or education in marketing, advertising, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with Dataform is a nice-to-have.
